The ColegauCymru inclusive FE Multisport Event returns for its sixth year!

Hosted at Pembrey Country Park on Wednesday 19 May 2027, this Duathlon offers an opportunity for all learners and staff in further education settings to participate in their first multisport event across two levels: Inclusive and Compeitive. Our previous events have welcomed participants with a wide range of abilities and experience, from Independent Learning Skills (ILS) learners taking part in a group activity challenge for the first time through to learners and staff competing at elite level. With over 40% of participants having additional learning needs, the Duathlon provides a truly inclusive approach to sport in FE.   

Inclusive Duathlon
The Inclusive duathlon event offers a 1km run, 4km cycle, and a final 1km run. Designed to be accessible to all, this is a celebration of participation,

Competitive Duathlon
The Competitive Duathlon is a sprint-distance event, consisting of a 5km run, 20km cycle, and a 2.5km run. Open to learners and staff looking to test themselves competitively, the event provides an opportunity for both experienced competitors and first-time races to take on the course.
