Consultation Response

Welsh Government: The future of tertiary education in Wales: five challenges and calls for submission
Deadline for Response: 27 March 2026

Our response urges Welsh Government to prioritise a well‑funded, collaborative tertiary system that recognises the central role of further education in social mobility and economic growth. It highlights growing learner support needs, rising financial pressures, and barriers such as transport and cost of living, calling for better 14–19 planning, improved adult learning pathways, stronger skills forecasting, and fair investment in FE to meet future demographic and economic challenges.
