ColegauCymru is a partner in the Youth & Skills Europe project, working alongside the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) and partners from across the UK. As part of the project, a UK-wide competition has now launched for young people aged 16-30 who are currently participating in vocational education and training (VET).
The competition asks learners to respond creatively to the question:
"How do young people in the UK benefit from improved relations with Europe?"
Entries can be submitted in any creative format, including artwork, film, writing, poetry, photography or even a recipe.
Fantastic prizes on offer
This is a unique opportunity for young people to have their voices heard and showcase their creativity on a national stage. A winner will be selected from each of the four nations of the UK.
The prize for each national winner includes:
- A trip to Brussels in early 2027, including a visit to the European Parliament
- Attendance at the Manchester Youth Dialogue on 5-6 November 2026, where the winners will be officially announced
- The opportunity to represent their nation as part of a UK-wide youth engagement initiative
