#VocTalks are short, subject-specific webinars designed specifically for college learners. Students will be given the opportunity to chat with and ask questions to former learners who are now working in their chosen field.
The webinars will take place at 10.00am and 2.00pm during the week of the 22nd -26th June 2020 and will cover the following sectors:
- Health and Social Care
- Sports
- Catering
- Business
- Construction
- Performing Arts
With the aim to inspire the next generation, those studying vocational qualifications at colleges across Wales will be invited to take part in #VocTalks to hear more about the working world and what skills and experiences they’ll need for their chosen career.
These talks will also be a great opportunity for younger learners who are making decisions on their next steps, showing the range of job opportunities that can come from studying a course in a further education college.
 During this difficult time, it's important that students continue to have a connection with the industry that they hope to work in. By providing a platform to speak to former students, we aim to inspire current and prospective learners to see the range of opportunities their course can provide for them in the future.
