Together with Qualifications Wales, ColegauCymru is pleased to hold a face-to-face event to promote the sharing of information and best practice in delivering the new Level 2 Construction and Building Services Engineering Qualifications

This event will take place on 21 June 2023 and will bring together FE colleges from across Wales to share experiences and insights in delivering the assessments, as well as other aspects of the new qualification suite.

The event will feature representatives from awarding organisations City & Guilds and EAL, who will provide the latest updates and assessment guidance.

We will also welcome colleagues from The College Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend College, NPTC Group of Colleges and Coleg Sir Gâr / Coleg Ceredigion, who will be on hand to share examples of their own best practice.

ColegauCymru Director of Development Kelly Edwards, said,

“We’re pleased to be holding this event with Qualifications Wales, and with input from the awarding organisations, to support our Construction colleagues from across the FE sector in delivering the new Foundation qualifications. We’re grateful to Welsh Government for their support in enabling this event to take place.”

Qualifications Wales Senior Qualifications Manager, Dean Seabrook, added,

“With contributions from awarding organisations City & Guilds and EAL, along with input from four further education institutions, this event is set to be a valuable and informative day for our construction colleagues.”
