ColegauCymru works in an advisory capacity to Welsh Government on the alignment of the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW) to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and other national qualification frameworks (NQFs).
This work helps learners, workers, employers and careers advisers understand how skills and qualifications are recognised beyond Wales.
In 2020, ColegauCymru conducted a survey and produced a report on the use of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) with forced migrants in Wales.
